Subject 2019 AMG GT63S Edition 1
The Edition 1 is the top-of-the-range Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S four-door coupe, which is powered by a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 engine which pumps out 630 horsepower between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm and 664 pound-feet of torque between 2,500 and 4,500 rpm.
To start the modification process on this already very stout AMG the client wanted to start by adjusting the factory ride height. Utilizing RENNtech and their air suspension adjustment tool, we were able to adjust the ride height individually on each corner by increments of 1MM each. This also retains full functionality of the factory air suspension and dynamics.
Prior to going all out with a full downpipe and ECU tune, we also installed the RENNtech exhaust valve control kit. This allows the user to completely control the valves by way of an included fob. Even though the factory exhaust has valve control, the valves NEVER completely open and hold back crucial sound that we all desire. The RENNtech system allows us to manually keep the valves completely open at all times, or to retain the factory control. The headunit and control wiring is all hidden in the spare tire well and is completely hidden.
Future plans for this super sedan include full exhaust, ECU tune and downpipe pushing power above 700HP along with a H&R Trak full spacer and extended lugbolt kit to flush out the wheel and tires to the fenderwell. Stay tuned for the updated photos when complete!
